Pacific Teen is a specialized residential treatment center nestled between the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Mountains in Malibu. This intimate 6-bed facility provides personalized care for adolescents struggling with mental health, emotional challenges, and substance use disorders. The program is structured around four core components: individual therapy, family-centered treatment, group therapy, and ongoing professional development for staff to enhance client care. Understanding the importance of academic continuity, Pacific Teen integrates educational support into their residential program, helping teens maintain their scholastic progress while focusing on recovery. Their treatment approach utilizes evidence-based methodologies delivered by certified therapists, including one-on-one counseling, art therapy, equine therapy, experiential therapy, family counseling, group sessions, narrative therapy, and advanced neurotherapy and neurofeedback techniques. While Pacific Teen accepts most private insurance plans as an out-of-network provider (PPO plans), they currently cannot accommodate Medi-Cal or other state-funded insurance programs.
