People's Fridge in Merced, CA is a welcoming community resource dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to everyone in need. Our mission is to ensure all members of the community have access to nutritious food, offering a free and open fridge where no identification is required. Visitors can safely take what they need while practicing essential health guidelines, such as wearing gloves and a mask. We also encourage the community to contribute by donating whole fruits and vegetables at our Donation Drop-Off Station located in the blue shed.
