The Food & Commodities Program in Mission Viejo, CA, is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by distributing vital food assistance to our local community. Every month, we provide emergency food to approximately 1,800 senior citizens through USDA support on specific distribution days, starting on the second Tuesday. Additionally, we offer surplus commodities every Friday, serving around 100 households monthly, including around 20 seniors who benefit from our programs. Our mission is to ensure that every individual and family facing financial challenges has access to the nourishment they need to live healthy lives, reinforcing our commitment to basic nutritional needs in our community.
