Located in Mission Viejo, California, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to promoting healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers essential services, including nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to medical and community resources. Our program provides nutritious supplemental foods designed to strengthen the dietary needs of participants, ensuring optimal health and development. Since the 2009 redesign, WIC has focused on providing fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, with a strong emphasis on supporting breastfeeding as the healthiest way to nurture infants.
