Alameda Meals on Wheels is a dedicated program serving Oakland, CA, providing essential food assistance through the delivery of hot, nourishing meals to residents of Alameda who require support, whether following surgery, facing mobility challenges, or unable to cook for themselves. Operating seven days a week, we offer home-delivered meals on a sliding fee scale that accommodates individual financial situations. Our community thrives thanks to our incredible volunteers who not only ensure timely meal delivery but also offer companionship and connection, often being the only friendly face our homebound clients see. Each meal is prepared daily by the skilled staff at Bayview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, ensuring quality and care in every bite.
