Located in Oakland, CA, the Mercy Brown Bag Program is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to seniors across Alameda County. We distribute emergency food bi-monthly at no cost, ensuring our seniors receive nourishing groceries that may include fresh milk, vegetables, canned goods, and pantry staples such as peanut butter and tuna. Our mission is to meet the basic nutritional needs of our community's elders, fostering health and dignity in their lives. Seniors can easily sign up for services by visiting one of our distribution locations during scheduled events, where we welcome them with open arms and a commitment to care.
