The Food & Commodities Program in Orange, CA, is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of our community by distributing essential food assistance from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). On the second Tuesday of each month, we provide emergency food supplies to approximately 1,800 senior citizens, ensuring that those in need receive the nourishment they deserve. In addition, every Friday, we distribute surplus commodities to families and seniors facing financial hardships, reaching around 100 households each month, including 20 senior citizen households. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and promote health through access to vital food resources, fostering a supportive environment for those we serve.
