Senior Services for Older Adults, a program of Abrazar located in Orange, CA, is dedicated to enhancing the mental wellness of adults aged 60 and older, particularly those facing the early onset of mental health conditions. We focus on reaching out to isolated and underserved seniors who may encounter social, cultural, or linguistic barriers that prevent them from accessing necessary support. Our mission is to provide comprehensive services at no cost, including in-home assessments, case management, and engaging socialization and educational groups, such as ESL and Therapeutic Arts. We aim to foster a welcoming environment that decreases the stigma surrounding mental health care while connecting individuals to vital resources, including counseling and food distribution services.
