The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant is dedicated to supporting individuals in Oxnard, CA who are experiencing severe financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare illnesses such as cancer and Parkinson’s. Our grant program focuses on providing essential utility and grocery assistance to help alleviate some of the burdens these conditions impose. While aid is directed specifically toward either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with community partners to connect applicants with additional resources and support services. Our mission is to ensure that those affected by serious health challenges receive the practical help they need to navigate their circumstances with dignity and care.
