Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry (CORE) in Pacoima, CA, is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees who are facing financial adversity due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to provide vital financial assistance to help cover essential expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills and supplies, therapy, funeral costs, travel for hospital visits, and childcare needs, including diapers and formula. We understand the urgency of these situations, and our program is designed to alleviate the burden on families in need. While former grant recipients are eligible to reapply for assistance after a 12-month period, we have established a lifetime cap of $7,500 to ensure that as many families as possible can benefit from our support. CORE is here to lend a caring hand during challenging times, offering hope and practical help to those within our community.
