The Gatekeeper Project, located in Pacoima, CA, is dedicated to addressing health disparities faced by older adults who are isolated, economically disadvantaged, or living with disabilities. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of these vulnerable community members through compassionate, non-medical support. We achieve this by mobilizing a network of trained volunteers who provide essential services, including comprehensive in-home assessments to understand individual needs, tailored plans that cater to specific situations, and reliable case management. By focusing on the unique challenges older adults face, we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for those who need it most.
