Located in Palmdale, CA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and connected to personalized weight management services tailored to their unique needs. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and access to clinicians as needed. For those who prefer a more autonomous approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app enables self-management of weight loss. For Veterans who continue to face challenges despite our supportive programs, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. Whether you're looking to lose weight or seek guidance on embarking on a healthier lifestyle, our MOVE! Coordinators and VA providers are here to support you every step of the way.
