Founded in 1962, the Gooden Center provides comprehensive addiction and mental health treatment from its Southern California location. The center offers a full continuum of care, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and sober living homes. Mental health and substance use disorder treatments are provided in comfortable, gender-specific residences throughout Southern California, with standard programs lasting 90 days. The Gooden Center takes a holistic approach to recovery, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT). Treatment plans also include individual therapy, group sessions, family counseling, 12-Step facilitation, meditation, exercise therapy, and nutritional programming. This CARF-accredited facility focuses on comprehensive care with multiple aftercare options to support long-term recovery, and accepts most private insurance plans.
