The facility provides multiple levels of care through partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and residential treatment programs, all supervised by trained staff and mental health professionals available around the clock. Residents stay in one of five cottages, each housing ten adolescents, where they enjoy private bedrooms with closets, shared bathrooms, and communal spaces for leisure activities. Family involvement forms a cornerstone of the Hillsides approach, with regular parent nights and monthly activities including holiday celebrations, carnivals, and puppy parties. Multi-family counseling sessions focus on improving communication and strengthening family bonds, while parents can maintain regular contact through phone calls and virtual meetings.
