Their structured program includes twice-weekly individual therapy sessions, regular psychiatric consultations, family support groups, and weekly intensive family therapy. The treatment team meets regularly to review and adjust each teen's progress as needed. Muir Wood integrates experiential therapies including hiking, art and music therapy, yoga, meditation, and Reiki into their comprehensive treatment model. Their WASC-accredited academic program ensures educational continuity for teens in grades 7-12, with dedicated academic staff coordinating with home schools during the 3+ hours of daily schoolwork provided Monday through Friday throughout the school year.
