At the Healthier Living Program (HELP) in Riverside, CA, we offer a free, seven-session interactive workshop designed for individuals managing ongoing health conditions. Our program provides practical strategies and tools to help participants take control of their health and enhance their quality of life. Through weekly sessions that include engaging food demonstrations, attendees learn to navigate key challenges such as medication management, isolation, nutrition, pain control, and stress management. We encourage participants to invite a family member or support person to share in this journey of positive change. Optional home visits from our public health nurse or health services assistant further support individuals in their quest for healthier living. Together, we empower each participant to build confidence, set achievable goals, and foster a sense of community while addressing the everyday obstacles associated with their health conditions.
