About Elderly Nutrition Program
The Elderly Nutrition Program in South Gate, CA, is dedicated to supporting seniors in our community by providing essential food assistance. We offer various services, including frozen meal delivery, frozen meal pick-up, and brown bag lunch options, ensuring that older adults have access to nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. To enroll for the first time, please bring a photo ID to your nearest location and complete the registration paperwork, which takes approximately two weeks to process. We gently suggest a donation of $2 for service users, while non-seniors are asked to contribute $4.75 for congregate meals. We encourage participants to reserve their meals at least one week in advance, with pick-up available starting at 9:30 am on designated days. Through our program, we strive to provide not only sustenance but also a sense of community and care for our elderly citizens.
