The Vance North Necessities of Life Program (NOLP) is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and nutrition education to low-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS in South Gate, CA, and throughout Los Angeles County. Our program operates weekly food pantries at four accessible locations, where clients receive pre-bagged groceries filled with fresh dairy, frozen meats, fresh produce, and a variety of canned and dry goods, alongside hygiene and cleaning supplies. To join, clients must complete an annual NOLP Eligibility Assessment, after which they receive a NOLP card for identification. This card is vital for accessing our services—clients can also authorize a substitute shopper with a note if they’re unable to attend in person.
