MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Stockton, CA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and connected to a range of tailored weight management services that cater to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-management, we have the MOVE! Coach mobile app available. In addition, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
