Healthier Living, a vital program by Partners in Care Foundation based in Van Nuys, CA, is dedicated to empowering individuals to take charge of their health through a series of engaging workshops. These sessions focus on essential life skills such as nutritious eating, physical activity, and relaxation techniques, specifically designed for those managing chronic conditions like arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, lung disease, and cancer. Over the course of six weeks, participants receive evidenced-based health and nutrition education in a supportive environment, encouraging self-management of their ongoing health challenges.
