The program combines accountability with holistic healing approaches, including daily meditation, goal setting, participation in 12-Step programs, and weekly drug testing. Residents benefit from the community-focused structure that includes daily check-ins, weekly outings, and peer support groups, all while having access to employment opportunities, fitness facilities, and recreational areas in the vibrant Venice neighborhood. Working closely with Thrive Treatment, an outpatient addiction treatment center with over 30 years of clinical expertise, Living Now offers residents access to comprehensive therapeutic support. Thrive's evidence-based treatments include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), complemented by mindfulness practices and meditation techniques within a trauma-focused approach. This clinical partnership strengthens residents' recovery by addressing underlying issues while developing essential life skills and healthy coping mechanisms.
