In Ventura, CA, the Senior Kits Program (CSFP) is dedicated to combating food insecurity among low-income seniors by providing essential monthly food assistance. Each senior enrolled in the program receives a thoughtfully packed box weighing between 25 to 30 pounds, filled with nutritious staples such as canned meats, fruits, and vegetables, beans or peanut butter, shelf-stable milk, cereal, pasta, cheese, and juice. Our mission is to ensure that every senior has access to the food they need to maintain a healthy diet. To participate, simply attend a Senior Kit distribution and complete a brief application on-site. We are here to support our senior community and help alleviate hunger for those who need it most.
