Everyday Eats is a compassionate initiative in Aspen, CO, serving low-income seniors aged 60 and over through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program. Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of older adults by providing monthly food boxes filled with essential, nutritious items such as non-perishable proteins, powdered milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. Each food box also includes valuable nutrition education and recipes to help seniors make the most of their meals. With distribution sites throughout Colorado, including Denver, Arapahoe, and Douglas counties, we ensure that no older adult goes hungry. Additionally, we offer homebound delivery services in select areas, making access to emergency food assistance even easier for those who need it.
