Hazelbrook Sober Living & Recovery provides structured sober living environments across Colorado, with 35 gender-specific residences located in suburban neighborhoods throughout Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Pueblo, Westminster, Arvada, Thornton, Lakewood, and Englewood. Serving adults 18 and older recovering from substance use and many co-occurring behavioral addictions or mental health disorders, the program creates a supportive foundation for lasting recovery. The program implements a phased approach to recovery. Initially, residents adhere to a 10 p.m. curfew, attend weekly house meetings, and participate in five recovery meetings weekly. As clients demonstrate progress and consistent financial responsibility, they gain additional privileges including extended curfews and reduced meeting requirements. Beyond basic housing, Hazelbrook offers comprehensive support through their ParadigmONE dojo, featuring sober activities like boxing, art classes, music instruction, weightlifting, and chess. Their Resource Employment and Learning Center provides additional peer support and therapeutic services. Residents can also access Hazelbrook's intensive outpatient programs, which fulfill weekly meeting requirements while providing talk therapy, relapse prevention counseling, and medication management. The diverse recovery meeting options include holistic health support, 12-Step Facilitation, non-12-Step approaches for both substance and behavioral addictions, specialized food addiction groups, Bible studies, self-care strategies, art therapy, and gender-specific support groups. This multifaceted approach allows residents to build personalized recovery pathways in a structured, supportive community environment.
