Everyday Eats, part of the federally recognized Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health of low-income seniors aged 60 and over in Avon, Colorado. Each eligible participant receives a monthly food box filled with essential nutritious items including non-perishable protein, milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. To support our seniors further, we've included nutrition education and simple recipes in each box. With distribution locations across multiple counties, including Adams, Jefferson, and Eagle, we partner with various agencies to ensure that every older adult has access to food assistance and no one goes hungry. For homebound seniors in select counties, we also offer delivery options. Our mission is to help maintain the wellbeing of our aging community by providing not just sustenance, but a sense of dignity and care.
