Meals on Wheels Northern Colorado is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Berthoud and Larimer County by delivering nourishing meals straight to their homes. Our mission centers on empowering seniors to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their own environment. Through our home-delivered meal program, we provide not only nutritious frozen meals but also friendly visits and safety checks to those who face challenges due to limited mobility. Our devoted volunteers ensure that deliveries occur once a week, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., usually from the same compassionate driver who builds a rapport with each recipient. By focusing on individuals who have difficulty shopping, preparing food, or connecting socially, we strive to create a meaningful impact on their lives, promoting nourishment, companionship, and safety within our community.
