Everyday Eats, part of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), serves seniors over 60 in Burlington, CO, focusing on enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income individuals. Each eligible participant receives a monthly food box filled with essential non-perishable items, such as protein, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, along with nutrition education and recipes. Our mission is to ensure that no older adult faces hunger, which is why we partner with local agencies to provide efficient outreach and distribution. We cover a wide service area, including several Colorado counties, and offer homebound delivery in select areas. To participate, seniors must meet certain income requirements and can easily locate the nearest food distribution site through our resources.
