Community Food Assistance is dedicated to delivering vital emergency food relief to residents facing food insecurity in Cortez, CO, and surrounding areas such as La Plata County. Our unwavering mission is to support the most vulnerable members of our community, including children, seniors, and families struggling to make ends meet. We offer convenient drive-up food distributions every Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm, where volunteers assist you by loading your vehicle. For those without transportation or in households at risk, we provide home delivery services throughout the week; simply contact us to arrange a delivery. Additionally, we distribute diapers and wipes while supplies last and have formula available upon request. Our food assistance programs are here for everyone in need within La Plata County, including the towns of Silverton, Mancos, and Dolores, ensuring that support and nourishment are accessible to all.
