Community Food Assistance is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in Durango and the greater La Plata County area. Our mission focuses on providing emergency food relief to families, seniors, and children who are facing challenges to meet their basic needs. We offer critical services such as drive-up food distributions every Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm, allowing residents to receive food without leaving their vehicles. For those who cannot access our site, we provide home deliveries for individuals at risk or lacking transportation. Additionally, we distribute essential items like diapers, wipes, and formula as supplies last. No one in La Plata County, including the towns of Silverton, Mancos, and Dolores, should face hunger alone, and we are here to support everyone in need with compassion and care.
