Everyday Eats, part of the federally recognized Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of individuals aged 60 and older in Durango, CO, through essential food assistance. We provide eligible seniors with a monthly food box filled with nutritious, non-perishable items, including protein, powdered milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, along with helpful nutrition education and recipes. Our mission is to ensure that no senior goes hungry, and we achieve this by partnering with various agencies for outreach and distribution across a broad service area that includes multiple counties. We accommodate homebound seniors in select counties, providing convenient delivery options. To qualify, individuals must be residents of Colorado, aged 60 or above, and meet specific income requirements.
