Everyday Eats, part of the federal Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income individuals aged 60 and older in Florissant, CO and surrounding areas. Our program provides eligible seniors with a monthly food box packed with nutritious items such as non-perishable proteins, powdered milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, along with helpful nutrition education and recipes. We work diligently to ensure that no older adult goes hungry by partnering with various local agencies to facilitate outreach, certification, and the distribution of grocery boxes each month. Our service area spans multiple counties, including Denver, Arapahoe, Adams, and Jefferson, with homebound delivery options available for those residing in certain counties. To qualify, individuals must be 60 years or older, reside in Colorado, and meet the specified income guidelines.
