Everyday Eats, part of the federally recognized Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of low-income seniors aged 60 and older in Gypsum, CO, and surrounding areas. Our program provides eligible individuals with a monthly food box filled with nutritious items, including non-perishable protein, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, alongside valuable nutrition education and recipes. We partner with local agencies to ensure effective outreach and distribution, guaranteeing that no older adult goes hungry in our service area, which spans numerous counties including Denver, Arapahoe, and Douglas. We offer homebound delivery for seniors in Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Denver counties. To qualify, participants must meet specific income requirements and age criteria.
