Everyday Eats, part of the federally recognized Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income seniors aged 60 and over in Johnstown, CO, and surrounding areas. Our program provides eligible seniors with a monthly food box filled with nutritious, non-perishable items such as protein, milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, ensuring that their dietary needs are met. Additionally, we offer valuable nutrition education and recipes to promote healthy eating. Partnering with Food Bank of the Rockies, we operate multiple distribution sites throughout the metro Denver region and utilize local agencies to support outreach and distribution, making sure no older adult goes hungry. Home delivery is available for those who are homebound in Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Denver counties. To participate, individuals must meet specified income guidelines and can use our Pantry Locator to find nearby food distribution options.
