Blue Spruce Neighbors, a compassionate program of Community Food Share, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to older adults aged 60 and over in Lafayette, CO, and adjacent Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Understanding that many seniors face challenges such as fixed incomes or mobility issues, we offer free groceries twice a month to ensure they have access to healthy, nutritious food. Our generous selection includes fresh produce, dairy, meats, frozen items, deli products, breads, and pantry staples, all aimed at supporting the well-being of seniors in our community. Eligibility for the Blue Spruce Neighbors program is simple: seniors who are 60 or older and reside in Boulder or Broomfield County can easily sign up. Caregivers or family members may also register and collect food on their behalf, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing a supportive network for those in need.
