About The Rose House Colorado

Founded in 2007 by Dr. Marcy Chambers, a PhD and recovering alcoholic, The Rose House was named in memory of her daughter Brittany Rose, who lost her life after using ecstasy. This extended care facility provides gender-specific addiction and mental health treatment for women in a peaceful countryside setting outside Boulder, Colorado. The 16-bed country cottage offers stunning landscape views and creates a nurturing home-like atmosphere where clients share meals in a family dining room, participate in household responsibilities, and access various outdoor activities. The Rose House focuses on comprehensive healing by addressing trauma as the root cause of addiction and mental health issues. Their holistic treatment approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, advanced emotion regulation, art therapy, equine therapy, nutrition counseling, weekly family sessions, and mindfulness practices. With a strong emphasis on relapse prevention, residents attend 12-Step meetings every evening and engage in community volunteer work. The intimate size and serene environment of The Rose House create an ideal foundation for women to begin their journey toward sustained sobriety and emotional wellness.
