The Colorado Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is dedicated to supporting low-income households in Leadville and across Colorado by providing essential food assistance. Our mission is to ensure that all families have the resources they need to maintain adequate nutritional levels. SNAP offers monthly benefits through an easy-to-use Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, which works like a debit card specifically for purchasing food items intended for consumption. Eligible individuals and families, including those who are employed, can apply for food assistance using our online pre-screening tool, the MyCOBenefits app, or through a paper application. Once approved, your EBT card will be mailed to you, allowing you to access the nutrition necessary for healthy living. Please note, assistance cannot be used for non-food items.
