Everyday Eats, part of the federally recognized Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income individuals aged 60 and over in Monte Vista, Colorado. We provide eligible seniors with a monthly food box filled with nutritious, non-perishable essentials such as protein, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. Along with these nutritious items, our boxes include valuable nutrition education and recipes to help our clients make the most of the foods they receive. Our distribution network spans multiple locations throughout the area, ensuring that no senior goes hungry. For those in need of home delivery, services are available in Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Denver counties. To qualify for assistance, seniors must meet specific income guidelines based on their household size.
