The Essential Needs Grant Program for Cancer Patients, part of the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation, is dedicated to assisting individuals in Olathe, CO, who are facing financial hardships due to the overwhelming costs of cancer treatment. We understand that managing basic daily needs can become a significant challenge during this difficult time, which is why we offer critical financial assistance to both adult and pediatric patients currently undergoing treatment or recently finished. Each month, our Grants Committee carefully reviews applications that have a Medical Verification from a healthcare professional, focusing on those in the greatest financial need and priority given to individuals with limited medical insurance or incomes at or below the poverty level. Our grants, awarded on a one-time annual or twice-lifetime basis, provide $750 for adults and $1,000 for children. Additionally, in circumstances of dire need, emergency grants can be expedited within 48 hours based on a caseworker’s assessment. We’re here to provide the essential support that patients and their families require during this challenging journey.
