In Parachute, Colorado, the Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) is dedicated to fostering healthy food practices among low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our essential services, we provide nutrition education, offer supplemental foods, and deliver breastfeeding counseling and access to pumps. Additionally, we facilitate referrals for necessary health care and social services. During COVID-19, Colorado WIC remains fully operational and families can reach out to their local WIC clinics for assistance.
