Everyday Eats, part of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income seniors aged 60 and above in Peyton, CO, and surrounding areas. Our program offers monthly food boxes filled with nutritious, non-perishable items such as protein, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, along with valuable nutrition education and recipes. We work diligently to ensure no senior in our community faces hunger, utilizing multiple distribution sites and partner agencies across various counties including Denver, Arapahoe, and Jefferson. Homebound delivery options are also available in select areas, making it easier for seniors to access the support they need. Eligibility requires participants to meet specific income guidelines, ensuring assistance reaches those who need it most.
