The Elder Program in Telluride, CO is dedicated to supporting low-income senior households by offering food assistance through grocery gift certificates. We understand the unique challenges faced by seniors, particularly those in San Miguel County and the west-end of Montrose County, many of whom lack transportation. Our program allows eligible seniors, aged 60 and older, to select their preferred foods from the nearest grocery store, promoting both choice and dignity in their nutrition. To qualify, seniors must be receiving Social Services assistance or have a monthly income of $1,180 or less. We are here to ensure that every senior has access to the nourishment they need.
