Everyday Eats, part of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income seniors aged 60 and older in Thornton, CO, and surrounding areas. Our program provides eligible seniors with a monthly food box filled with nutritious, non-perishable items such as protein, milk, juice, cereal, canned and dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. In addition to food, we offer nutrition education and recipes to promote healthy eating. We partner with various distribution sites throughout the Denver metro area to ensure seniors have convenient access to these essential resources. Our commitment extends to homebound seniors in Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Denver counties, providing outreach, certification, and delivery services to ensure that no older adult experiences hunger. To qualify, individuals must meet specific income criteria and reside in Colorado.
