The Action Center, located in Wheat Ridge, CO, is dedicated to providing immediate and compassionate support to individuals and families facing hardship. We understand the challenges that come with difficult times, which is why we strive to create a welcoming environment where respect and kindness are at the forefront of our services. Our mission is to stabilize lives by offering essential resources including emergency food assistance, clothing, and personal items. We also connect clients with long-term support to foster lasting change. Our offerings include a five-day food supply available up to 12 times annually, monthly clothing bank visits, access to household items as they are available, and mail services for community members. Additionally, we provide rental and utility assistance based on availability, and we work closely with community outreach partners to ensure comprehensive support. For seniors, we offer food commodities on the first Thursday of each month with pre-registration. Appointments are necessary for all services, and while same-day appointments may be possible, we recommend scheduling in advance to ensure availability. We are here to empower our community members on their journey toward stability and hope.
