The Holocaust Survivors Program at Jewish Family Services in Avon, CT, is dedicated to empowering Holocaust survivors by ensuring they can live independently in their own homes for as long as possible. We offer compassionate support, including counseling, emergency assistance for unforeseen expenses, and ongoing help with home care costs. Our team is also here to assist with applications for reparations and compensation programs, and survivors can access the JFS Anja Rosenberg kosher food pantry, enhancing their quality of life. Many of our services are need-based and provided at no cost to qualifying individuals, while additional offerings are available free of charge to all survivors. Some clinical services may be billed to Medicare and other insurance plans, ensuring that we are here to support our survivors in every way possible.
