The Holocaust Survivors Program at Jewish Family Services in Bloomfield, CT, is dedicated to uplifting Holocaust survivors by enabling them to live independently in their homes for as long as possible, avoiding institutional care. We offer vital support through a range of services, including counseling, emergency assistance for unexpected expenses, ongoing help with home care costs, and guidance in navigating reparations or compensation applications. Additionally, survivors have access to the JFS Anja Rosenberg kosher food pantry, ensuring their nutritional needs are met. Many of our services are need-based and available at no charge to qualifying survivors, while others are freely accessible to all Holocaust survivors. Certain clinical services may also be billed to Medicare and other insurance, allowing us to provide comprehensive support infused with compassion and respect for those we serve.
