Connecticut WIC, located in Canton, CT, is dedicated to promoting healthy food choices and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program, we provide vital resources including nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential health and social services. Our participants receive an Electronic Benefits Card that allows them to purchase healthy foods. While our offices are currently available for phone appointments, we encourage prospective participants to reach out and learn how to apply for food assistance and access the support you need for a healthy start.
