MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Colchester, CT, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to provide accessible support tailored to each Veteran's needs, ensuring that all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities are screened for obesity and connected to appropriate resources. To meet the diverse preferences of our participants, MOVE! offers a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which combines in-home messaging with clinician support. For tech-savvy individuals, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers self-directed weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who may need extra help after participating in MOVE!
