In Cromwell, CT, the Children's Nutrition Program is dedicated to combating child hunger by providing essential food assistance to school-aged children in need. Every Thursday from November through June, eligible children receive backpacks filled with nutritious non-perishable food items to help sustain them over the weekend and during school breaks.
