Connecticut WIC serves the Derby, CT community by supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits through essential services such as nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health and social services. Participants receive an Electronic Benefits Card, making it easier to access nutritious foods. While our Connecticut offices currently offer phone appointments due to COVID-19, we remain committed to aiding families in need.
