Each year, eligible U.S. based PNH patients can receive up to $800 to help cover the costs of traveling to see specialists or obtain second opinions. This assistance can be used for airfare, train tickets, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and co-pays for medical visits or tests not fully covered by insurance. Understanding the challenges that come with managing PNH, we aim to ease the burden of travel by allowing grantees to bring a companion along for support, ensuring that patients receive the specialized care they need without the added stress of financial strain.
